Ganiyu Teslim is a thirteen-year-old boy who has been a double orphan since his early childhood. The caregiver who is his uncle Mr. Ganiyu Isaac has been taking care of him since his early childhood and enrolled him in school from primary level. Recently, he complained that he was unable to pay for his common entrance fees and he considered dropping out of school, since his work has not been favorable since he left service in 2012 in the North. He added that he has been able to make a living out of his carpentry work through feeding and funding Teslim’s education, but has not been yielding well for a while now.

Ganiyu Teslim was the child that was selected for enrollment and the organization got him a new school uniform as he was on mufti on the day of visit, and also paid his common entrance examination fee along-side 5 other vulnerable children, as recommended by the school volunteer in person of Mrs. Kehinde, with the involvement of their individual caregivers.

The executive director affirmed that the organization will enroll the child and the uncle signed the organization’s agreement note.

Ganiyu Teslim in 2018 before enrollment, when supported by the organization to pay for his common entrance examination, as one of the defaulters reported by the organization’s school volunteer, Mrs. Kehinde. Teslim was met in school on mufti while his other colleagues were in uniform as he does not have any uniform provided by his uncle, because they just relocated from Abuja alongside the immediate family of Mr Ganiyu Isaac, several years after the death of Teslim’s father. The Executive Director, in person of Mr Mojeed Olatunbosun Bakare, immediately after paying for the common entrance examination fee, went ahead to get Teslim a new uniform outside the school premises, and Teslim got changed into his new uniform, and looked like his colleagues afterwards.
